Found this one on a horse trail. It's the biggest one the rest are about half this size. Found a couple of patches along a dear trail. But I'm happy Now I just need to find some false unicorn.
Congratulations. I have read that deer devour goldenseal berries the instant they look ripe. You may want to construct a \"stick fence\" to deter critters. Deer hate being poked in the face with sticks.
The deer are going to be out of luck cause I beat them to it. Got the berries off of a few of them and already have them out in couple of places. I was surprised to find as many as I did since a lot of them are on a deer trail.
I'll remember that about the sticks though. Might come in handy later on when I have some things actually growing on my hill.
