TOPIC: so who here uses goldenseal?

I have many times for sore throat. Anyone else use it much for anything else?

On occasion. not a regular thing for me.

It seems to help topically and also for cold sores

Sooo...I just cooked up some yellow root with some saltwater for a nasal rinse.

Haha, your a brave man rickc, Its 5 hours later and i bet you can still taste the bitter,,,,,,, hahaha brave man...

I also take it for a sore throat or if i feel like i may be coming down with something usually about 2 or 3 times a year. i have learned that it doesn't take much to make it very strong, after taking it a few times it does become easier, but man that stuff is bitter. But it will clear up a sore throat fast.

Yeah K_duce, brave alittle crazy and desperate! More often that not I can't breathe through my nose and it's driving me nuts. I'm to find something that will help besides an ENT doc.
I dig some every year for sore throat and think it works as good if not better than anything.
