Was wondering how much goldenseal is going for this year in other states,buyer here in missouri is only paying 15 dry.He said there isnt really much demand,is he playing games or what?
I know where lots of golden seal is but I never dig it the price is not rite for me to harvest it so unless they get rite on thast it will be there whn im gone and my sons and grandchildren can admire the big patches.
lenno i haven't talked to any dealer's this year yet , but i know fur fish and game is predicting eighteen dollars for dry when it opens. But that is usually right. Toward the end of season it gets to be about twenty a pound around here usually. I have seen some years it got to twenty five and thirty dollars a pound.
