I have not done it yet but plan to next year after harvesting berries from my own seed producing bed (which I established this year).
In W. Scott Persons book there are plenty of details on how to stratify seeds.
A summarized version:
The common method of ageing seeds is called stratification and involves mixing the seeds with fine, moist sand and storing the mixture underground for a year in either a plastic or wooden container.
He gives lots more details...
If you are getting serious about growing seng and producing your own seed you should consider buying that book.
