TOPIC: Leafs curling up and plant dying

So my three old ginseng roots I have are curling up not getting hard but soft falling down then dying off. First why is this doing this? Second what can I do with the roots cause there still fine?

Really ? No one can provide advice without a lot more information. We need to know location, microclimate, elevation, soil type, companion plants, and land use history. Also slope aspect and hours of sunlight.
