Had a nice short hunt yesterday of only a couple of hours. Was mainly only looking for 10-15 decent 3 pronger's to transplant but then I ran into this nice patch of yellow sang. The picture doesn't really do it justice as I ended up digging 8 really nice 4 prongers. Wasn't planning on really digging any to sell this year as I am one of the people that believed early on that the price was going to be pretty low this year. Which I believe is due to all the poaching and over harvesting of ginseng by the rash of new hunters generated from that ridiculous TV show. However I do believe that I will now try to get a couple pounds to sell as I believe we will see $600/$700 a pound sometime in early December.
