TOPIC: Drought Effect on Seed Germination

We are currently experiencing a moderate drought here in the mid-Atlantic region. I have been planting for a few years with moderate results. Should I wait til mid October or so until the ground moistens up some to plant? I am panting my largest amount so far this year at 3 lbs of seed. Thanks.

if the surface dirt is that dry, it might not hurt. However, here most of the nights we are now starting to see the heavy dews. In this case, I'm not afraid to plant right away.

Lucky here where I'm at...we have had the right rainfall..ground is staying moist.
