How does the altitude effect the growth of ginseng? Is higher better? 1500 ft or 3000 ft? I'm looking for land and I would like to grow ginseng on the property. I have a friend with property that is 1000 ft to 1200 ft. the property has ferns growing on a sloped area. this is in NC with hardwoods.
