TOPIC: So how does one get a permit?

Okay, I'm still a few years out from harvesting, but I like to get my ducks in a row years ahead, so that when I'm ready, I can go.

I know a permit is not needed for intrastate sales, but I'm looking at quantities to bypass the locals. How do I get a permit to sell out of state, and does anyone have any info as to who in NY will take large loads to circumvent the middlemen?
