Help for a first timer! Is this a ginseng root??? 10 years 1 month ago #32115

Hi everyone.
I'm a novice ginseng hunter and this is my first year hunting. I found what I thought was ginseng and dug the root up last week. Is this ginseng? I compared it to many of the other pics on here and on various websites and it looks like it to me. Towards the top of the root (where it is slightly yellowish), is where I rinsed it off.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
