TOPIC: Shipping Ginseng question

Hi Guys. I made it out for the NY opener and had some success. I m going to try selling some root on ebay. With that said, what is the best way ro ship to insure freshness? I see a lot of people use moist peat moss. Anyone have suggestions or advice? Thanks in advance.

Damp, NOT wet, peat is good, sphagnum is better. However, your first concern should be in complying with the law for exporting wild ginseng from your home state. It must be certified from your state before it can be exported to another state (or sold to persons other than dealers most generally).

Yes have it certified or hope you don't get caught. I send to my buyers in moist woods moss and never a complaint.
