Hey guys, I'm on vacation this week, and wanted to get you some pics of the other stuff I am growing. These are several water plants I grow in the back corner of the yard. Some have nice blossoms.

I sell these plants to folks using a craigslist ad. These are water Arrow Alum.

This lilly has been our mainstay saleable lilly, a Perry's Double Yellow. It's leaves are anywhere from 7\" - 12\" across, and the flower is and easy 8\" acrosss

Another cheeky frog in the ponds. You should hear the backyard at night. We have at least 5 different frogs and toads back there.

Whit,

Love your water garden pics.

That is one thing I wish I had here at my place - a nice pond with fish, frogs, lillies and cat tails and all those other water things. Just something peaceful about a body of water like that, and it can sure provide some fun and good eats too.

Me and my Boy have been watching Duck Dynasty lately and all the hunting and fishing and froggin those guys do reminde me a lot of my growing up years. We ate as much wild stuff at our dinner table as store bought and loved it.

Just this moring I ordered a couple of frog gig (frog spears)... I have a couple of nice frog gig handles (nice long ones) stored away in the garage that I have been saving for years.

Talked to a fellow at Church this morning and got permission to gig his pond for frogs.

Now that is one of those experiences that my boy Cole has not had yet.. but perhaps next weekend we will get that done.

Your pic of that nice frog sitting on a lilly... well about next weekend I hope to be eating a good mess of frog legs :-)

The weather continues to be almost spring like here - compared to the past 2-3 years, much better for everything and especially good for my seng. My seed bed is looking real good here mid July and I have some seed pods about half way filled out with berries now.

I picked near 2 gal of blackberries Saturday morning, and put up corn yesterday evening. My big summer tomatoes are ripe now (brandy boys) one slice covers a slice of bread completely, add bacon and some fresh corn out the garden and well..

Things are good here for sure !
