Merry Christmas to you Latt, and everyone else on the board. I think Santa is going to bring me a new pair of Snake Boots and Chaps. I'll feel a little safer when I get back in the mountains next year checking things out. Ho!Ho!Ho! Looking forward to seeing you back after Christmas.

Cole and I got out this evening and plated the last little bit of seed from my last pound ordered.

It was a bueatiful spot and the soil was nice and moist and soft (rained yesterday here).

It was in a spot where we hunted squirrels a couple weeks ago and Cole remembered it.

It was a little cold and windy today, but the sunshine in the woods was bueatiful.. we were planting late evening as the sun was getting low.

To honor this special season... below is a verse from the end, and beginning.

Our Lord and God, you are worthy to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you have created all things, and because of your will they exist and were created. Revelation 4:11

On the third day (of Creation)... God said, let the earth produce vegitation: seed bearing plants, and fruit trees on the earth bearing furit with seed in it according to their kinds... And it was so. Genesis 1:11



And God saw that it was good.

Now that's some of my favorite seed producing vegitation

Not sure what I am getting for Christmas this year... but I did see a rather large \"Cabela's\" box arrive the other day and my Wife has it wrapped and under the tree now.

Just a few more days and I will get see what's in there.

Same here yall. I hope ol Santa Clause treats everbody well and you enjoy your time with family..I'm feelin pretty good right now, finished up our last big job for the year this evening and am about to take off for a month. I'm gonna see just how much boiled custard and jam cake I can eat,enjoy Christmas and then start slingin some seed! Have a good one fellas.

I also want to wish everyone on the forums as well as your families, a safe and Merry, Merry Christmas and a safe and very Happy New Year! I don't expect there will be much under the tree for me and really don't want or need anything. I am happy as long as I can provide presents and money to my three daughters and five grandchildren who have very little and provide when I can, to others that are less fortunate! Wishing you and yours the best during this Holiday Season! I also wish and pray for comfort and for some form of happiness to the parents, children and grandparents and other loved ones of those lost in the Newton, Connecticut School shooting! May God Bless them with all his might and compassion, so they can make it through this otherwise joyful season! I lost both my Dad (in 1998) and my Sister (in 2011) on December 3rd and know grief but cannot begin to fathom what those poor folks are going through in losing a child or grandchild.
