TOPIC: Wild Seng Pics 4/22/2011

This afternoon I took my son and daughter and a couple of my daughters friends down to the big waterfall behind the house.

Here is what it looked like today...



They had a big time playing in that water.

Back in 2009 very late in October I took my son and daughter down there to visit the falls and on the left side of the falls right beside the path that leads down there were two nice 3 prongs laying there - very light yellow - almost white - had 7-8 red berries still hanging on.

Me and my son planted those berries there in late Oct 2009.

Today I checked that spot and look what I found

Also just past the falls beside a log last fall when I was hunting seng down there I found a nice little patch of plants.

One was a small 3 and the others were nice 2 prongs.

I left them all there and checked that spot today.

Now there is a nicer 3 and those 2's have turned into 3's this year.

Good to see the wild seng up and doing well.

Lovely photos of these Plants,,,,Thanks for sharing Tn things are lookig realy good here seng is up very good = 2 very good sproutings 2 years in a row is a good thing.............The rain supply has been abundant again exactly at the right time of the year.....

Very nice plants TN, and thanks for all your posts. I hope that I can keep looking at pics posted and find my first plant.

those are some good pics maybe tomorrow ill have some good pics of roots to go online i wish that the places i hunted looked that good. I end up in every brush pile around. Thanks for the good pics to keep all of us on point for digging.
