No, these really white roots come consistantly from the same type of area and soil. Really loose rocky soil such as that as at the base of a bluff or bottom of a canyon, really loose, really black dirt, lots of limestone. I actually can almost dig some of these roots out with my hands in these areas. This root came out of a valley I have hunted and planted back the seeds in for many years, so it's very possible I harvested the plant that made the seed that this plant grew from.
