TOPIC: 1st hunt!!!

Just like to thank Billy for his videos, and all the other help you guys post on here...im new at this, but last sun i went out and dug 27 roots.

Left all the small stuff, and what berries where left i planted.

Went yesterday after work and dug 8 more. Found a bunch of small stuff for years to come.

Can't wait till next spring!!!!

My first hunt was back when I was a sofmore in Highschool 1976.

I had a friend at school who I also teamed up with on trapping and he had been senging a few years with his dad and he took me and helped me learn how to find seng.

Did you just take off on your own the first time and find some ?

Or did you have a experienced hunting buddy to help you get started.

Going off on your own and actually finding some the first hunt would sure be an accomplishment in my opinion.

Anyway - glad you got started off good and are looking forward to next year - I sure am too. I have been looking forward to next year since 1976

Which neck of the woods to you call home?

Thanks guys.Didn't seng this week.We took a week to bow hunt in southern Ohio.

I live in far east Tn on the NC,VA state line.Lots of big woods.

These videos on here helped me the most.Man i will wear some leather out next season....i got it bad!!
