TOPIC: 26.6 oz Today several nice 4's

Hey Guys,

I had the day off today - my Company lets us have our birthday off and yep today was mine. 49 now - getting close to the big 50.

Oh well, no better way to celebrate than with a ginseng hunt and finding a bunch of nice 4 prongers.

I hunted by myself today - my partner had to work.

Did alright by myself - 26.6 oz and some big old ball roots.

Got several pics to show.

Man that maiden hair fern is a good companion plant.

Look just up the hill from it.

I actually saw that maiden hair fern and went up the hill to take a picture of it and then noticed those two nice ones nearby, and there were 2 more good ones just around the hill a bit.

Happy B-day! I just turned 46 a few weeks ago. Nice pics, yes I love keeping an eye out for Maiden Hair.

I found some nice ones growing part way up on a bluff that faces due east. The get some good morning sun but no evening sun there.

Hard walking, but worth it !
