What a day. I took off at 6:00AM and finally after a little drive and an hour hike straight up hill I was enjoying a rest and taking it all in! What a beautifull sight. The berries had all already fallen but that new patch I was telling you about did not disapoint.....!

2nd root...4,0oz. You can see what it took to get these guys out, all rock. Unfortunately I broke some of the hair root at the end. It was still 28\" long!!!!!

The whole family, 12 roots dug, .... 2lbs 6oz. I left a few smaller 3 stemmers and bunch of smaller ones.

Maya that is AWESOME. I guess you are feeling better now. I hardly ever find roots like that and never that many in one spot. How old was that biggest one?Thanks for sharing the pics, now I cant wait to go.
