I lost a dear friend a few weeks ago. Floyd Huggins of Fayette Fur and Ginseng here in Pennsylvania passed away at the young age of 86. I’ve sold ginseng and yellow root to Floyd for almost 35 years and he was one of the good ones. His prices were always fair and his scales were always true. A God fearing man that loved the outdoors and managed to make a little money at it by always treating his trappers and diggers fairly and with respect for the many hard hours that he knew they were putting in the woods. Rest In Peace Floyd. My upcoming season will be dedicated to you as I know you will be out there with me.
