Looks somewhat like a man root... and has the 3rd leg too :-)

Would be better if that one arm was down below the neck, instead of coming off the neck.

Could be a one of a kind human mutant emperor root with that arm off the neck thing going on.

PS.. would also be better if it had been shaped before drying to position the arms as they should be.

Nice root anyway.

It has not dried we just dug the root last week. So I think we can still shape it.

I am not sure that we can shape the arm if we did it would break. Should we preserve this root or is it even worth anything alone?

Not sure if you can find anyone (easily and legally) to pay extra for a man root or emperor root.

Think you would have to have it certified to offer it for sale on ebay.

In my case (TN) I would also have to buy a 250.00 dealers license before I could have it certified and offer for sale on ebay.

A few years ago Billy found a nice one and sold on ebay, but it did not fetch the price he was wanting and best I remember he bought it back.

You could always ask your local dealers if they ever pay extra for man shaped roots.

Below is one I found in 2012, and I shaped it by putting it on cardboard and placing straight pins along the arms, legs and body to shape it like I wanted until it dried.

I kept mine, did not try to sell it. It had a real good man shape, but the arms and legs were sort of skinny.

Good Luck !

I don't think it will fit the appearance factor as it is. It's a nice root, tho.
