TOPIC: WV Ginseng

Hey everybody! Here is a few pics from this years WV season! First one was well hidden!

My Uncle digging a couple of 4 prongs!

Big 4 prong in the roughs.

Another big 4 prong in the roughs! This day I dug 10 stalks and had 7 ozs.

This year there was an abundance of 4 prongs! We dug about 17 lbs the first 8 days!

This was a bad sight to see!

love seeing those big tops carl. wish my dad would go with me just once. Glad my honey goes with me those are thebest trips of my year!

We made sure that it never bites anyone. Surprisingly it only had a couple of buttons on its end. Our Chinese friend Weng really hates it when we kill them. But like my uncle says, \"The next day it might be in a different holler and bite one of us\". I may have walked right by it. I was getting ready to dig a 4 prong and my uncle was coming through the same area that I had been in a few minutes before when he saw it. Kinda unnerving.

I know what you mean. I wish we didn't. That's why we wear snake chaps! Give us that extra bit of protection.
