TOPIC: Must have walked 5 miles today...woooo

I thought I would post a couple of pics,some are todays find and some are from the other day.
I went to one spot thismorning,found only 3 roots.Seng was all but gone for the year.
Came home took a nap then I drove 20 miles west and to my suprise I found a patch or two af green seng full of berries.It sure is funny how one spot the seng is gone for the year and the next spot you go to it is still green and very healthy.
I did manage about 11 oz total but it was a hike.I did manage a few good ones..back to work tomorow but I do have all weekend and I hope I can make it out atleast 1 time.

PA-Real nice dig! I have a neat feature on my phone, a pedometer that keeps track of how far you walk. Twice this year while out sanging I've surpassed the 10mile mark. And you all know the miles I'm talking about. Hard walking, steep graded, briar covered miles. Guess its a good thing thou. Makes up for all the driving I do for work and it sure is fun.

PS. You ever decide what you were going to do with that 6oz beauty?

As far as the 6oz root it is sold.Had to do it.
A great regular from FL. bought it and had me ship it to one of his friends in New York.
I didnt know that I would get emails from some people that I have never seen on this web sight trying to buy that root.How are they getting my email address? I am sneeking out tomorow and I am taking camera.I hope to find a patch or two..

I found these plants in the attached picture.
My feeling is that they are not ginseng but goldenseal.
Can anyone comment please?
