TOPIC: Very Old Va: Root Beautiful

Guys to me September 1st is opening day as I am a true Ky Ginseng Hunter,but I could not take it no more I was wanting to go so bad and my buddy Bobby Joe invited me to go on a hunt on a friend of his private land in Lee Co - Va: and man I finaly got some relief shewwwwwwwwww Bobby dug near 14 ounces I dug 12 and 1/2 ounces and Ole Caleb dug 7 and 1/2 ounces just over 2 pounds now I tell you that was a great hunt and with two of the best guys I know and what a nice person Bobby`s friend Maggie is to welcome us as she did just good of her and good of Bobby.......

So I wanted to share a couple photos with you guys to help entertain thoughts

Both of these are big roots with age I love finding roots like this to me that is fun.

Glad you got to get out and get your seng digger in the ground a little and at least a temporary fix for your condition

Nice ones Billy, I don't have long to wait now, Just concerned about what the weather will be here on the opener. Can't control that, and they aren't going down real quick around here yet, so worst case scenario, I may have to wait a day or two to get out.

I am going to be ohnest I was suprised to see that root I didnt know that my neighbors seng was that pretty myself but that is not to far from me.

I love finding these but this one was found by a digger that brought it to me why`ll I was sit up buying over in Va: today just a beauty of a old root,very nice.
