TOPIC: Good Time in the Woods

Its been a good time to be back in the mountains lately! The brook trout fishing in the smaller mountain creeks has been fantastic as of late. Plus, on some of these fishing trips, I take time to walk up some hollers to spots I know ginseng usually grows wild. Been having good luck finding both the brookies and the sang. Hoping this patch of plants I found survive well through the summer and into fall.

Two things I enjoy in this life (besides my wonderful family)...casting a fly to fish (be it trout or river smallmouth bass), and hunting sang. God has really blessed me to live in a place where I have fantastic trout streams and smallmouth bass rivers everywhere...and in many of those same places, sang grows wild. I am a blessed man!
