TOPIC: Must See!!!

This is a nice big root my cousin dug in 2001. It weighed 11oz! I know it is personally one of the heaviest roots I have seen before. He decided to keep it in vodka all these years. I am glad he finally got a picture and sent it to me so I could share with everyone.

well, then you cousin has a $1,000 voldka. IMO, this kind of roots are much more valuable than so-called man roots.

My cousin who taught me how to hunt ginseng always talks about when she was a little girl back in the 60'S. The old guy who taught her had dug up a root many years before down in Saxton PA, and it had over 100 small roots coming off of it. She saw a picture back then, and said it looked like he was holding a hornets nest it was so big. Took him hours to dig it out carefully without hurting it. She always says she wishes she could see that picture again.

Now that old boy had character. Neat for sure
