TOPIC: Official Ginseng Price In Ohio

Does anyone know if price is going to go up? or down? My dealer says he can give me $400. or more it depends on how nice the roots are but... should i wait to sell?? I am not sure i could use some advice thanks.....

buell lady the prices are so wishy washy i do not think any one would dare to tell you sell it,or keep it,,,,you just have to go on your fellings for that,but 400 in many areas this season is not a bad price,,,i have herd of areas going to 450,but it hasent hear yet,,,it would depend on whether you have alot of nice root to go with your common root,that would make a little wait good,but even then you would have to no a dealer you can trust to keep you posted very close to the rise/fall a good dealer is a must for this question Ohnestly...400 is not bad..unless you have alot of bigger older roots,if you do show the dealer and tell him/her you need more for the lot,do not seperate the lot sell it all as one and depending upon the amount of mix you will get 25 to 50 dollors per pound more with a good dealer....

was it gillogly?? I heard he picks your roots to death if it was him is that true?

I didn't have a problem with him. I had a buddy selling to him for a few years and he recommended I call him.
