TOPIC: First Emergence Up in Maine

Wow!

Yesterday I had a scare with a small thunderstorm, and for about five minutes there was hail coming down heavy. The hail was about 1/4-3/8\" in diameter.

I had checked the seng beds earlier and found about 75-100 two and three yr olds that had emerged. So I went to see if there was any damage from the hail. I found around 100 more plants that had emerged. No damage to them at all!

Boy that was a Fright! But now I'm relieved!

They are starting to emerge quickly.
