TOPIC: Organic sprays

Re:Organic sprays 13 years 3 months ago #9111

I think Actinovate would work well for ginseng. I especially like that it is a Natural Biological Fungicide. But I was checking the ginseng diseases that it treats compared to Plant Helper Trichoderma and they both treat all the same ginseng diseases.

I like the plant Helper more, because it becomes active at 35 degrees when the soil is still cool. I know my soil stays cooler longer compared to most other areas. And thats important where I live and having already experiencing Damping Off disease. Also Plant helper has already been tested on Ginseng. Tests also showed good results in ginseng roots and protection from disease.

I will stick with plant Helper. Plus I already have it on hand.

But I do think that Actinovate would work well.

If you try it, I would be interested in the results.

Classicfur,
I already have the Plant helper so I will probably stick with it as well since they treat the same diseases as you had mentioned.
Thanks,
Latt
