Yea i have a woods lot a few yards behind the house about ten acres of woods area but a lot of the trees have been logged out about 6 years ago so some of the spots that would have been good or perfect for growing the ginseng is in a mess right now . But there are a few spots i could plant . I plan on planting some in a week or so in some good areas in the woods . Just to do some test spots to see what happens. The whole idea for me behind planting them in my yard in a raised bed was just to have it close where i could help tend them and get used to growing them more closer to home . Figured if they are closer the better chance i have of them producing seeds that will not get eaten . Your soil mixture sounds something closer to something i could use . Appreciate all the info and help will put it to good use in a week or so .
