rootman,
I understand your frustration after all of the hard work and probably a fairly large investment moneywise! However, I try to look at this in a good way. What goes in one end, comes out the other end and is usually covered in ferlizer! Wild Turkey populations have long been spreading Ginseng seeds across Forest lands of North America for thousands of years. They and some other bird species as well as Deer, are the reason that we see a lot of Ginseng growing on and along Wild Game Trails. Wild Turkey flocks, harems or coveys (whatever you want to call a bunch of hens, gobblers or hens and gobblers together) can and will cover up to 20 miles in a day looking for food but if food is plentiful in their' core area, they may only travel 5 to 10 miles in a day. Therefore, if fed Ginseng on a regular basis, a flock, harem or covey of Wild Turkey can plant 25 upwards of 100 square miles with Ginseng seeds in very little time at no extra cost to the supplier of the seed! Just a thought!
