POOR MANS GINSENG

This plant grows everywhere up here, my back yard is full of it. Usaully it likes a dryer area than sang. It's root or rhysome has an excellent taste and can be eaten to sustain you if lost. The first nations of this area ate it before battles or hunts to boost the bodies energy.

Try it!

Dig close to the plant to find the ryhsome and then pull it up it's a long one, cut it off, strip the bark and enjoy. You can judge it's age the same as ginseng.
Let me no what you think of the taste.
