Yah, I've had the deadline out for about seven weeks now. You can see the Blue Colored pellets in that photo(upper left, dead center and top right).

The thing about deadline is that the slugs have to first eat the bait and then while the poison is in the process of killing them, mean while they start munching on a seng plant and then they start getting a tummy ache, fall off the plant then curl up and die.

So even though they are being killed by the deadline, some get to the plants before they are killed. The big slugs(3-4\") seem to be the ones that go the longest after ingesting deadline. I wish it worked like a lethal injection!

Fortunately I have not lost very many plants. It just makes the leaves not look as pretty.

If you look just past the flower spike on that last one, that blue thing, I think that is a deadline pellet, or what is left of one.

Got my bag of \"Deadline\" slug bait in. It was easy to broadcast. The slug damage thus far is almost non-detectable. However, I am glad I got it down this evening as a preventative measure. The ginseng in these 5 large beds are looking really great. I will take pics next time I go there..

I keep noticing blue fluff or something in a few of your pictures leaf litter, what is it? You can see it in the last photo here.

Latt where did you find/order the deadline?

My buddy owns a plant nursery. He ordered it from one of his sources. I think he said it was $200 for the 50 lb bag. Not sure if that is a good price or not. He said he will show me the invoice when he gets it in.

I get the deadline in 10 lb bags for about $30. With shipping it's total is $57

Here's where I get it. I suppose if you order two or more bags you could save on shipping.

I use alot and a 10 lb bag lasts me about 1 1/2 years.

you need to apply about 7-14 pellets per sq ft.
