Considering the Chinese stock market has been cut in half over the last year, I think more people are just trying to make ends meet there, much like here.
talked to 2 dealers in wnc today neither are buying dry, maybe next week at 275 lb but are buying green for 80-95lb will know more after auction in hong kong on oct 20
The price of our Ginseng this year is greving to me John because I have worked a full time job and being a outside worker I have dug every day that it rained and every day that I had off even some Sundays to try and make some extra money for the winter when work is slow.
I have had a great digging season going to some places that I hadent been to and some private owned land ( with permission of course )I have dug around 10 pound dry this season when its all finished drying give or take a ounce or two.
After all that hard work I sure would like to see it reach at least $500 to $600
dollors this year.

well i sell to china and my chinese dealer has informed me that he does not expect the price to go up any this year.he expect the price to go even lower.he says it will take at least 2 years for the price to recover.now you cant take his word for fact cause anything can happen with the stock market.things could get better by january and the price shoot way up.however it does not look good.i know you diggers dont want to hear this but thats the way i see it.buy the way do you have the habit of crossing the fence when diggin sometimes i do i just got to see whats over there.
