Latt, lenno
on that range map, it show that Dwarf Ginseng is in Maine and Wisconsin, but I have never seen one growing in the wild. It must be just the particular areas that I lived that did'nt have any.
I know in WI there was alot of blood root and goldenseal, but I have not found any in Maine. Both states has Black cohosh, blue cohosh, sarsaparilla, trillium, jack in the pulpit, yellow lady's slipper, Christmas fern, rattlesnake fern, solomons seal and false solomons seal. And I have all of these plants growing in my ginseng garden areas.
It's a joy to see these beautiful plants growing. I never gave it much thought to grow them in my shade garden.
And I have never seen a false unicorn.
Thanks,
