TOPIC: Rotten Weather

Re:Rotten Weather 13 years 3 months ago #8645

Hillhopper,
Holy cow, that hog sure could do some damage if he caught ya with those big chompers. Glad the dogs were able to stay away from them. Bet he had some good weight to him judging from the size of his head.

Congrats on a fine HOG! They are fun to hunt.

Thanks for sharing the pic.

Here's a \"Blast from the Past!\" I shot and mounted this one in 1980.

When I lived in California I would mount maybe 6 a year. In Maine, all we have is Ground Hogs.

Latt,
around 270 was his weight

classicfur,
Thanks and that's a fine one as well. We haven't had any here in TN either but just a county over people are claiming to be killin em left and right back in a certain hollow. A lake seperates us from that area and I hope and pray they don't find their way over here. I don't reckon anything can hold em and they tear and push fences up wherever they want to go. Can you imagine what they would do to a patch of ginseng when they come across it!

Hillhopper

Yah, that would be a disaster if they found a bed of ginseng. It's a terrible thought!

Keep praying that they stay away!
