A giant millipede in the previous photo. These sometimes live in ginseng habitat. They are beneficial and should not be harmed.

Thanks Ubtrapper ! I shrank this photo down so maybe you can see the flower cluster. Remember last year when the drought caused many plants to abort flowers and berries. That is sure not going to happen this year. I expect a bumper crop of berries this Fall.

I sure hope so. We've had plenty of rain around here. I was in some seng Saturday and most of them didn't have berry pods or they were under developed for this time of year. Not sure what is going on with them.

Thats a nice berry pod on that 4 in your pic! I'd love to see a holler or two full of them. Lol

Very nice Archon. I find tons of those little buggers ( millipedes) I like to toss them at my good friend n digging partner. He's scared of them lol.
