TOPIC: Anyone have prices for Arkansas?

My regular buyer is only doing $400. Was $450 last week. Not crazy about giving it away.

Market is so bad, I'm not even buying at the moment. I'm advising people to hold on to what they have and hope the market goes back up (some) in the next month or two.

However, in the grand scheme of things 400 dollars isn't all that bad of a price considering AR. ginseng usually starts out in the 300-400 dollar range. This is not a seller's year, last year was. This year, and looks like the next several, the market is going to be in the favor of the end consumer because of over production and a flooded market.

Can some one explain To me how the market can be flooded when the Koreans and chineese buy it there are over a billion people in China alone. Also would like to mention that a dealer from Maryland who has been in the business for a long time and is Asian him self told me the market wasn't flooded because of the early green prices. He said the Koreans bought up most of that and that the market isnt flooded. The chineese buyers funds are tied up due to the unrest in Hong Kong. Just what was told to me. So I don't see how the market could be flooded. Educate me

Yep. Some are still green with berries. But most starting to turn
