TOPIC: Sunrise from my backporch...

If you have never noticed... just before the sun peaks up (before even a sliver is seen) that morning sky is extremely bueatiful. Even when just a small part of the sun is up over the hill it still looks amazing... but after the full sun circle gets up over the hill, the sunlight over powers everything and it starts to go down in color intensity after that.

From the time you can see the smallest part of the top edge of the sun, until the whole circle is seen - it only take around 4 minutes.

PS - this morning 2/15/2013 was a real bueaty here at my house.

Sure is nice that time of day!

The sunrise this mornig was not near as intense - there were low clouds in the eastern sky.

It is interesting how much the color varies from day to day, some days being extremely red, and others more smokey, grey/yellowish...

Below is what I got this morning a few minutes before the sun poped up.
