TOPIC: Bigfoot

Re:Bigfoot 12 years 9 months ago #16755

Yes, I agee Latt, they seemed very credible. They said a couple things that made me really side with their stories. \"I know what I saw\" and \"there's no doubt in my mind what I saw\". I find myself saying those same phrases while talking about my cat sightings. You know what you saw but you always feel like you are defending you credibility. Those guys certtainly saw what they beieve is a bigfoot in my estimation!

I think that Moneymaker guy shouldn't be on the show. He goes overboard believing everyones accounts and if he hears an owl hoot he says, \"yup thats a bigfoot\". He demeans any credibility they may have with their investigations. The big guy Bobo is a riot. The other two scientific lend some credibility to the show.

I have not seen the show about bigfoot.. and I was suggusting that there is some possibilities about just why we havn't seen one. Well, in my usual sarcastic fashion.

Maya-

I agree with you on the big Cat sightings. Our USFS says that these animals are extinct on the eastern seaboard... however they do exist here in North Carolina. If you do a google search of Mountain Loin sightings, one can find sighings in diverse states such as Iowa, Michigan, Florida, etc. I'm not real sure way the USFS has declared them extinct... when the evidence is piling up against them, or should I say \"for them still being around?\"

I had a similar sighting as you did -during bow season- near Boone.NC It's mountainous there. Actually this was very near my 'sang patch, however I was bowhunting deer.

I participate in a forum expressly involved with The Linville Gorge, a federal wilderness area here in NC, that is just amazing. Here's a link to what I posted regarding my sighting, on the Linville Gorge forum:

I have now decided to take my Mossberg 500a in with me when I'm working on my sang patch, as a result of the sighting... caution has become more important than ever! However I'm thinking that a large caliber handgun would be more useful....

would be neat if it were true....but I think alot of these sightings are misundertsanding....mostly bears standing on thier hind legs expressing dominance..etc every couple years they have a sighting of \"big foot\" in northern Indiana....probably black bear comming down from michigan there are some thick patches of forrest along the state border especially over by Cold water, mi/ Angola, IN area and soome others westward

They recently came to a town right near where I live to do a show. They had the town hall meeting(thoguh you had to basicly be invited and sign a waiver before you got in)and evidently went to where there was a few supposed sightings around here and over toward Whitehall NY. Will be interesting to see how the show turns out. I absolutely do not think there any squatches around here!

maya - up here in Ontario my neighbour saw one a few years ago. He actually called the MNR to report it. They came out and asked what it looked like in detail. The MNR boys said he sure discribed one right down to the small dark line on the tip of the tail. After a few days search they found foot prints to confirm his sighting. Bush cameras were put all over his land, with out any luck of capturing photos. But in a local outdoor mag. the MNR admitted to finding skat.
Now I have read that a den had been found out in Western Ontario some where.

I'm talkin about the mountain lion not big stink foot.
