TOPIC: Greetings from Vermont, new to the forum

Re:Greetings from Vermont, new to the forum 14 years 1 month ago #6863

Hi Vt, I'm from Rutland, Co. Nice roots you got there.

Where are you selling? How is that Bethel auction? I've never gone. I've got some very big roots I want to get the best price for, not sure how the prices are there.Talked to two buyers so far and they are being coy about giving out a price. About $500 per lb for these specail roots, but I think I can do a lot better.

Rutland is just down the road, I grew up in Manchester and now live in Dorset.

Getting a dealer license in VT is as easy as getting the collector's permit, just mail in a form for free and you get it. I do currently have my dealers license, so I can go to the plant pathologist and get an export certificate to be able to sell anywhere in the country.

I once looked into what it would take to send it overseas and that was complicated, but possible. I guess the hard part would be getting paid before shipping them out, there would probably be a trust issue with a new overseas buyer.

Keep me posted if you come upon someone paying good prices, between me and an uncle, we have around 10 pounds.

Very nice looking roots you posted, those are monsters, congrats.

You have some beautiful country down there, there is a Ducati dealer in the mountains that I go to on occasion when I need a long ride.

Those are some of the best I've seen in a while. Hold out for a good price.
