Chief - I am going to do a 3 mile float on a local small river tomorrow morning. I bet those smallies will be biting. Late summer they sort of slow down with all the heat, but when it starts to cool off again (like now here), they start feeding really good and seem to catch bigger fish too.

If I catch a good mess tomorrow morning I will post a pic of them.

I did go seng hunting yesterday and below are a couple that I thought were the best of the bunch.
