That is sure a nice looking big old 4 prong and a nice little patch.

I hunted this morning (middle TN) and almost all were yellow, some looking very pale and leaf sets falling off.

Guess it depends on the area and how much rain has happened the past few weeks. It has been bad dry here and it is showing in the seng color now too.

Whitjr, Yes it is I was wondering when someone was gonna notice that, lol. I heard the song on the movie \"What about Bob\" starring Bill Murray. If you've never seen it you need to it's hilarious. When I was out hunting in the rain that song strangely popped in my head and thought of that movie,

Thanks Tnhunter, I went out again today and the weather couldn't have been better. I harvested 33 roots and planted some seed and passed up a lot of small 3's which were mostly still green except for a few. I found some of the nicest 4's I've seen all season which were still strong and green. I Started to run into some of that droopy gold seng today though. I Hope to hunt till mid October anyway.

What an awesome day in the South, fellas!
Thankful today for such a simple blessing and the legs to get out in the middle of it all.
