TOPIC: First year ginseng hunter

Congratulations on some really nice root for your first time out, it's an awesome feeling. Great digging as well...man i would eat EVERY one of those!! You WILL sadly find that most seng hunters just do it for the money, but i have noticed more and more people eating root now which is awesome!! Have a great and safe season brother

Hey Dino, you're not too far away from my area. Whenever you decide to sell, would you mind saying who you sold to, and approx what they were paying. I've had a hard time the last 3-5 years finding a buyer in our area I feel comfortable with, who is paying anything more than rock bottom garbage prices. I hate driving 6 hours to find an honest buyer.

Last season people were talking about getting $500 - $800 for a dry pound, I was only finding $200 - $300.

I got 4 buyers saying 6 to 700 but I'm in no hurry I'll post when I get it sold
