they where back in the middle of grapevines covered in brairs on the side of an old slide they where smothered down to the point that they where only about a foothigh fourprongs if they had been in the open i think they would have weighed much more . any way thanks guys good hunting to all

Nice roots. The last time I heard Harlan mentioned was when I met a man in Tioga county, Pa on a gas job. He told me back in the 1970's he was driving from Williamsport, Pa to Elmira, NY and picked up a man who had been shot through the guts in Harlan with a high powered rifle. He picked the man up in Blossburg, Pa and took him to a hospital in NY just over the state line. Apparently the strucken man survived. I also worked with a man whom told me his first relatives to cross the big pond lived in a big old hollowed out sycamore tree in Harlan, Ky. I only know it as a story. Pretty wild if true!
