What state are you in if you don't mind me asking? The biggest roots I,ve seen are either in NY or KY.

Congrats on such a nice and old big root and all of the other roots you dug! If you are planning on selling your' Ginseng roots green, then sell everything but the big root, have it certified separately and then sell it on eBay but by all means keep it fresh. However, as previously stated, you might want to consider planting it in a seed/crop bed to produce lots of seed for years to come. Also, with it being planted in a seed/crop bed, it may be able to heal some of it's injuries.
