TOPIC: growing

What should I look for to try to grow ginseng in Mississippi? I own land with a good north to northeast slope. Have found Jack in the pulpit growing there. No Maden hair fern, but some other fern. Have different types of oak, sweetgum, beech, and some pine.

Try planting a pound and see how it does.

How hot does it get down there? I know Mississippi is kinda stretching it a little but probably in a deep cool hollow and plenty of mulch then you could swing it.
