TOPIC: Hello

Hello, I've been reading the forums for a couple years but never posted before. My husband and I got hooked on senging two years ago when we discovered some plants in our woods while we were cutting fire wood. We have since gotten permission from several neighbors to hunt on their property. We are having a decent season so far but have noticed the plants are starting to yellow quickly. So I don't know how much longer we will be able to find them. We are in Ohio.
I used this site to research the laws, stewardship issues and a lot of other valuable information. So I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the site and I'll be adding my two cents worth every now and then. Have a great season everyone.
The other day, we found our biggest root ever. It is not a really old plant but we were so excited you would have thought we won the lottery. I'll try to upload the picture.

Hello daisy24, thats a good root. I think most of us are going to have a short season this year.
