does anyone know where i can sell this man shaped root, or what it might be worth

Unless you are a licensed Ginseng Buyer/Dealer, then you must sell it to a Buyer/Dealer. Maybe you could work out a deal with a Buyer/Dealer to sell some of your' bigger roots on eBay for a precent of the Selling/Bid Price. The root has to weighed in with certified weight, entered into the Dealer's records then (I believe) a copy of the weight certification included when shipped to the purchaser.

It's a little too late to consider this year but next year, you might want to obtain a Ginseng Dealer's License in your State. Just beware that there are rules that you have to follow, certification of weights of all Ginseng bought and sold, records to keep and I believe reports sent to the State.

All states are not the same. I can get the export certificate for my seng and i am a digger. Talk with your Dept. of Ag or DNR
