Re:What has happened to alot of our seng? 11 years 5 months ago #25999

I been hearing about a lot of pill dealers trading pills to ginseng all summer long then they make huge profit selling it in the fall. i dont begruge no man for puting shoes on his kids or paying his bills in desperate times with ginseng no mater when he digs it .but yes something has to change cant stand the thought of some pill head digging every three leaf and two prong just to get high. I dont see them closing season completely but they will do something eventually if they stop the wild season they whould make it to hard to sell woodsgrown because it can be hard to tell the differance sometimes.

its shame Lee but it happens I'm no rat by any means. But I go st it honest. They better hope , from this day on I don't see or hear of it. My dealer told me today a conservation officer or forestry man told him it may be closed . For five years starting in 2014. All because of bunch dumb asses . Digging out season and digging any thing they find.

I they need a pair of shoes, cohosh and many other plants will fill the bill. It's not legal to buy or sell much less dig seng in the summer time.

There are ways to make money if one is willing to work for it.
