TOPIC: Ready for Saturday!

Ready for Saturday! 13 years 7 months ago #11639

Just went out to see if the berries were red for Saturdays opener here in Vt. Checked an area where I found a couple small ones earlier this year and found some real monsters. This one had 25 berries that got planted. A couple semi red ones I left on the plant for Saturday. All in all I planted over 50 berries in about a half hour.

Hey Maya,

What kind of pic do you have ? what format ?

What is the extension (.???).

If you have a Windows PC - you should have under

Start - Programs - Accessories - Paint

It is a vary basic image application that can open .gif, .tif, .png and save as .jpg or .jpeg

OK thanks TN, I didn't know you could change format through paint. Well here it is and there was a few more like it at the top of this small bowl, very cool little spot.

Guys all though I like this new Ky date change it sure is tuff on me lol I will have to get use to it the new date and all by now last season I had already started ginseng season 2010 in Ky lol but it will be sept 1st from now on.

I got the want to`s so bad I am having trouble working on the job ha ha......

A good buddy of mine from around the Newport Tn area has invited me for a ginseng trip to a new area together we usaly go about 4 trips a year together 2 over their and 2 over here sometimes we get one or 2 more in,I taught him to ginseng hunt a few years ago,we have been church friends since we where in our teens. He is only about a 2 hour ride from me and I am going to go over this weekend and see him and go out in the Mountians over there. I do not no yet if I will dig because seeing I hardly ever hunt over that way I will surely want the berries to be red and I do not think that they will be yet,but if they are maybe I will get a dig in :)

Blessings everyone,be carefull out their watch for snakes, and slippery rocks etc and them dreded bees sheww I h8 bees worse than snakes and spiders,I realy do they torment me when I am senging I am always watching for them bugers, but they always get me at least once a year, grrrr :)

G/L All....
